I am a recent graduate of New Vista High School residing in Boulder, CO. Since Elementary School, I have been interested in computers. The majority of that interest stemmed from hours spent playing video games, but in sixth grade I began my adventures into the WWW. For the last 3 years of high school, my interest in video games lessened, while my interest in making my time spent using the computer more productive grew exponentially. I taught myself standards based XHTML and CSS first; messing around with simple code became my hobby. Eventually, I broadened my knowledge to include PHP, mySQL, and AJAX. jgolddesign.com has been my domain name for the past three years. It has seen many designs, and has changed greatly. It is hosted at Media Temple, and has seen Wordpress, Textpattern, Drupal, and Joomla implementations.

It's simple: Less is more. No slow loading. No images. No annoyances. This means more room for information, and less time wasted reading it. The background is another story. This website is driven by a custom (unfinished) PHP/mySQL backbone. My philosophy is that the more time I spend on this website, the less time you should have to spend reading it.
